How does it work?

1. Your client is going to Europe and asks: “Do I need an electric adapter?”

Do you take a few minutes to tell them about:

  • 220 vs 110 electric voltage,
  • adapters and different sizes depending on countries,
  • converters and how heavy they are,
  • how to read voltage their device voltage label,
  • travel surge protectors (yes, recommended),
  • where to buy chargers that work in foreign countries,
  • and how not to blow up their electronics?

Or, do you give them a link to your private learning center with a video that explains everything they need to know about electricity as a traveler?

2. Your client is concerned about being hacked while traveling.

Do you take a few minutes to tell them about:

  • how to safely using the internet using SSL encryption,
  • how to tell if their phone is using encryption (or not),
  • review if bank apps are safe,
  • should they use a VPN?

3. Your client wants to know if their phone will work overseas, how much it may be, and what options should they consider?

Wow – this one is a big question, with a complex set of answers.

You probably have already had clients return from Europe and get a $800 bill from their phone carrier.  We know how true this is, as we have met travelers in our in-person classes who did.

There is a six part video (in your library) that covers:

  • How much will their American Plan cost,
  • Will their phone work overseas,
  • How to test if their phone is unlocked,
  • Review what are foreign SIM cards with costs,
  • And where to buy SIM cards overseas.

The video below reviews the decisions and costs real travelers made in order to use their phone overseas.  How to do all these examples are covered in the six part video.
